Hi, I’m Shubham Pandya — a product-focused UI/UX Designer with 3 years of experience and a Master’s in Computer Science from Lakehead University in Thunder Bay. I specialize in creating intuitive, scalable, and human-centered digital experiences.
My design journey began during my undergraduate studies in Computer Engineering at CHARUSAT, where my curiosity for the "why" behind user behavior led me from coding into the world of UX/UI. Since then, I’ve built a diverse portfolio through internships and freelance roles with companies like Just Natural Paws, Nimblechapps Pvt. Ltd., CloudZon, and CyberUpgrade, focusing on admin dashboards, e-commerce platforms, and mobile-first products.
Before and during my grad studies, I also worked in the hospitality industry as a server, bartender, and supervisor. That hands-on experience taught me empathy, multitasking, and what intuitive service truly feels like—insights I now bring into every product I help design.
To me, design is more than aesthetics—it’s solving real problems for real people. Whether I’m building wireframes or refining micro-interactions, I always start with the user and iterate with intent.
Outside work, I’m an avid traveler, lifelong dancer, and podcast enthusiast. I enjoy exploring diverse cultures, trying new cuisines, and staying inspired through creative movement and thoughtful conversations.
I’ve also dedicated time to volunteering—sheltering 57 animals during humanitarian conflicts in Ahmedabad and supporting indigenous food relief efforts in Canada. These experiences ground me in empathy and fuel my commitment to designing with purpose and inclusivity.
